
Haiya Celebrates One Year in Office, Commits to Transforming Malawian Football

Monday, December 15, 2024, marked a significant milestone for the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) as President Fleetwood Haiya celebrated his one-year anniversary in office.
Haiya took to the occasion to express his gratitude to the soccer fraternity for their support and cooperation throughout his tenure.
Reflecting on his first year, Haiya proudly noted that FAM has made considerable progress in transforming Malawian football.
“Together, we are on a path to uplift Malawian football to greater heights,” Haiya emphasized.
He reaffirmed his commitment to realizing the collective aspirations of making Malawi a dominant football nation, not only regionally but also globally while urging all stakeholders to join forces in changing the football landscape in the country.
As FAM continues to work towards its vision, Haiya says his leadership with strive to be instrumental in laying a solid foundation for the growth and development of Malawian football.
