Bakili Muluzi TV online television station has promised to support the leadership of President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika and the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) to govern the country by putting the people first, and their priorities second.
Bakili Muluzi TV station said for 5 years of MCP President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera in government, he was supporting opposition parties to win the 16th September, 2025 general elections for Malawi to be liberated from the shackles of MCP dictatorship and quest to return the country to one- party state.
He said this time around, he will continue to work with the opposition party which has joined government because it was his prayer that one opposition leader must be elected as President of the country and his prophecy was fulfilled with Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika’s landslide victory.
Writing on his face book page, Bakili Muluzi TV said there have been many calls coming to him to continue supporting opposition parties so that they offer constructive criticism to government either in in Parliament or outside Parliament, saying the calls are genuine.
Bakili Muluzi TV has made his stand clear that for 5 years of President Chakwera and his MCP, he and Comrade Ntanyiwa were being hunted like animals with one agenda either to arrest or kill them but this was not made possible, God was on their side protecting them.
He said the MCP led government spent over K48 million to send Police Detectives to hunt for them in South Africa but failed to locate them meaning that for 5 years they have been hiding from the assassins of the MCP and today with the change of government, it is almost impossible to work with those who had an agenda to assassinate them.
The activist said the MCP led government engaged Zimbabwean and Rwandan ICT experts to track them but this too, yielded nothing saying as such, they cannot work with and support MCP which had plans of assassinating them.
“We are now in government, our mission to liberate Malawi from the MCP has been fulfilled, Malawians voted with a loud voice, no to MCP rule,” said Bakili Muluzi TV.
A concerned citizen of Malawi residing at Area 51 in Lilongwe Mrs. Elizabeth Kaliza Banda, has thanked Bakili Muluzi TV and Comrade Ntanyiwa of Limpopo FM online radio station for their tireless efforts they made campaigning for opposition leaders to join government.
Kaliza said Bakili Muluzi TV and Comrade Ntanyiwa have reminded Malawians of Channel Africa in South Africa in 1991 to 1992 where Kamlepo Kalua, Shyley Kondowe, and John Unandi Banda were enlightening Malawians on Malawi’s transition to change for democracy.
She said on 14th June, 1993 Malawians across the country voted for the hurricane lamp which was standing for democracy saying the Black cock was defeated and there were wild celebrations celebrating the dawn of multiparty politics and democracy in Malawi.
The woman said history has become the best teacher again in September, 2025 when Malawians celebrated the Fall of Babylon-MCP and Dr. Lazarus Chakwera with thanks to Bakili Muluzi TV and Comrade Ntanyiwa for forming a strong defense of not allowing the MCP to rig the elections.
