NFCA Talks To Silver Over De Jongh

National Football Coaches Association-NFCA reveals it has initiated discussions with Silver Strikers over the appalling behavior of their controversial coach Peter De Jongh.

The association condemns his conduct; saying he is dragging the beautiful game of football into disrepute.

It follows the recent incident where the Dutch national splinted and charged towards referees who officiated his team’s one-all-draw TNM Super League game against Chitipa United at the Civo Stadium.

He accused the officiation of robbing him two points and that it had failed to give marching orders to a United player despite being booked twice.

But NFCA says its primary concern lies with a number of coaches that De Jongh is mentoring yet he has a fixed-term agreement with the club.

“According to the rules governing the beautiful game, there are proper and respectful ways to express discontent that do not tarnish the reputation of both the coaching profession and the game of football,” reads the NFCA’s statement in part.

De Jongh, who is on a two year contract with the Central Bankers, has had no kind words on the country’s football administrators, pitches and officiation.

This far, has already been booked at least four times including a red card for misconduct.
